In this workshop, we discussed the politics of intimacy in South Asia from a feminist and postcolonial angle with two leading scholars in the field: Professor Sara Smith (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) and Prof Sneha Krishnan (University of Oxford). The workshop aimed to provide participants with an insight into the everyday practice of ethnographic work and theorizing intimate politics as well as providing a platform for researchers to discuss their own writing projects among peers.
