On February 12th the project "Security and fragile states", coordinated by Muriel Côte, and funded mainly by the North-South Cooperation of the University of Zürich, came to a close in a public seminar at the University of Ouagadougou I, Burkina Faso.
The seminar aimed to present the project framing, results and generate discussions around a future research agenda on security and vigilantism in Burkina Faso, which was reported in the burkinabè press.
The project was a collaboration between the Political Geography Research Group (Muriel Côte), and the Laboratoire Genre et Développement (Zakaria Soré) and Laboratoire de Recherche Pluridisciplinaires en Sciences Humaines (Bouraïman Zongo) at the Université Ouaga I Prof Joseph Ki-Zerbo.
