Rory Rowan will be giving a lecture entitled “Beyond Colonial Futurism: Portugal’s Atlantic Spaceport and the Neoliberalization of Outer Space”.
The lecture will be based on his new research on Portugal's planned 'Atlantic Spaceport' - a logistic hub for commercial space launches - in the Azores, in relation to wider research on the role of colonial imaginaries and the neoliberalisation of European space exploration.
