GIVA@COSIT2026, York, UK: Best Short Paper Award, Presented Papers, and more!
The 17th Conference on Spatial Information Theory (COSIT2026) was held in York, UK, from September 22-25, 2026. Established in 1993, COSIT is a biennial international conference series concerned with theoretical aspects of space and spatial information. This year's COSIT was co-organized by a GIVA group member, Armand Kapaj.

Qi Ying, Christopher Hilton, and Sara Irina Fabrikant received the COSIT2026 Best Short Paper Award for Qi Ying's PhD research, "Habitual use of navigation systems impairs spatial learning depending on navigation strategy."
