17.03.2025Livia and Francesco were at the 28th Alpine Glaciology Meeting

Livia Piermattei and Francesco Ioli took part in their first conference as members of our team! They attended the 28th Alpine Glaciology Meeting, held on February 27–28, 2025, in Innsbruck, Austria.

At the event, they presented our latest research on Digital Elevation Model (DEM) reconstruction using optical, open-source data. Their poster, titled “Potentials and Challenges of the Free SPOT 5 Stereo Imagery Archive to Derive Glacier Elevation Changes in the Alpine Region,” was authored by Francesco Ioli, Enrico Mattea, and Livia Piermattei.
