Zürich Accessible CiTy (ZüriACT) has been awarded in the Citizen Services category at the Smart City Hub Switzerland Awards 2024!
Dr. Hoda Allahbakhshi, project leader: It’s been an honor to lead this initiative from the University of Zurich side, and I’m deeply grateful for the exceptional collaboration and hard work that made this possible. A special thank you to François Ruettimann, who led the project from the Stadt Zürich side, the amazing ZüriACT team, and our incredible participants and project partners Project Sidewalk and iNovitas AG.
This recognition highlights the importance of digitalization in improving accessibility, inclusivity, and engaging members of the public, and showcases a successful collaboration between academia and practice partners.
Now, with the DIZH-funded project: ZuReach, we’re excited to continue driving positive change through digital tools, technology, and participatory research toward creating more inclusive cities.
