The Oxford Bibliographies’ new section on Urban Studies features contribution from Julie Ren.
An entry on “Postcolonial Urbanism” was published in the new Urban Studies section of Oxford Bibliographies by Julie Ren. Postcolonial urbanism encompasses a range of scholarship in urban studies that engages with postcolonial theory, postcoloniality as a historico-political status, and postcolonial criticism of urban theory. The entry includes key scholarship from anthologies and key texts in postcolonial thought as well as sections on postcolonial planning and southern urbanism. The peer-reviewed annotated bibliography is open to revision and comments are welcome.
