From the airport:
The campus can be reached directly (no transfer required) using tram number 10 (bound for 'Bahnhofplatz / HB'). The two tram stops 'Milchbuck' and 'Irchel' are closest to the Irchel campus of the University of Zürich. (N.B. the tram stop 'Irchel' is slightly closer). The tram ride from the airport takes about 20 minutes.
From Zurich City, main railway station:
The campus can be reached directly (no transfer required) using tram number 10 (bound for 'Zürich Flughafen') or 14 (bound for 'Seebach').
Tram number 10 stops at the 'Milchbuck' and 'Irchel' stop, whereas Tram number 14 stops at the 'Milchbuck' stop only.
From Zurich Oerlikon, railway station
The campus can be reached directly (no transfer required) using tram number 14 (bound for 'Triemli') stopping at the 'Milchbuck' stop or tram number 10 (bound for 'Bahnhofplatz / HB') also stopping at the 'Irchel' stop.
Getting from the tram stop to the campus
Most conveniently, a car navigation device will find the location of the campus by entering the address 'Winterthurerstrasse 190, 8057 Zürich'. Once arrived at the destination, the 'Irchel' university parking garage offers ample of space.
From west (Bern) or east (St. Gallen):
When no car navigation system is available: The campus can be most conveniently reached from the northbound freeway number '1' resp. '4', (European standard denotation: 'E41' resp. 'E60') by first following the road sign 'Flughafen' (i.e. Airport) and then 'Zürich-City'.
From the airport:
Follow the road sign 'Zürich' and then 'Zürich-City'.
Direct access to the parking garage from the freeway:
Following the 'Zürich-City' road signs, the 'Irchel' university parking garage is also directly accessible from the freeway, the entrance being right at the tunnel portal of the 'Milchbuck'-Tunnel, 200m after passing through the 'Schöneich'-Tunnel.
