The 9th International Conference on Spatial Cognition (ICSC 2024), devoted to “Segmentation and Binding in Spatial Cognition,” was held in Rome from September 9-13, 2024. The GIVA group attended the ICSC and presented the following work:
Sara I. Fabrikant was invited as a keynote speaker and presented: "Towards neuroadaptive navigation assistance to reduce spatial de-skilling." The extended version of the talk can be found at the following link: https://doi.org/10.1007/s10339-024-01209-w
Armand Kapaj presented the following co-authored poster: "Kapaj, A., Hilton, C., & Fabrikant, S. I. (2024). Long-term retention of landmark and route knowledge acquired during a real-world map-aided navigation task." Christopher Hilton (former GIVA member and currently a postdoc atTU Berlin) presented the following co-authored poster with GIVA members: "Hilton, C., Kapaj, A., & Fabrikant, S. I. (2024). Realistic landmark symbols on a map provide implicit, but not explicit, benefits during spatial navigation."
