About
I am a human geographer holding a Masters in Geography and Spatial Planning and Landscape Development (ETHZ) from UZH. I studied in Zurich (UZH) and Grenoble (UGA), France. Further, I gained experiences, both, in research in Landscape Architecture at the ETH Zurich, and in working environments in sustainability consulting and cultural management.
Since 2024, I am a research associate at the Institute of Business and Regional Economics IBR at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and an external PhD candidate at the chair of Social Geography and Urban Studies (SURB).
Research
As part of the interdisciplinary SNSF project “Biennalisierung der Landschaft oder kulturell geleitete Regionalentwicklung?”, I am conducting research on the cultural political implications of contemporary art exhibitions in rural Switzerland. I’m investigating the establishing of three specific recurrent art exhibitions in public space in the upper Valais, Jura, and Grisons and asking for their interrelations with processes of territorialization.
