Claudia Röösli is the group leader of the Earth observation application and services group at RSL and focusing on applied research topcis including creation and use of science-based tools for EO-applications, knowledge transfer and innovation. She is active in very diverse topics lead by her interest in promoting the use of satellite data for everyday's live and in biodiversity monitoring.
In general, she is positioned in the interface between research, innovation and applications. She is heading the scientific part of the Swiss National point of contact NPOC, leading the operational team of the UZH Space Hub, being Co-Lead of the "Genes from Space" ISSI international team and has further research activities with focus in ESA-related projects.
